BURIAL OPTIONS

Regardless of whether you need to purchase a grave for a full body burial or a space for cremated remains, Elmhurst Cemetery has options for you at a variety of prices. The descriptions below will give you an overview of choices available for your particular situation.

FULL BODY IN GROUND BURIAL

Burial in a grave remains the most traditional and widely used burial option. Grave spaces and burial packages can be purchased through the cemetery office.

MAUSOLEUM ENTOMBMENT

For those preferring above ground burial, the community mausoleum has crypts available. When an interment is made, the crypt front is taken off, the casket is placed inside and then the crypt front is reattached.

CREMATION GRAVE

The cemetery has recently created a new cremation garden section for the burial of cremated remains. A cremation grave or cremation package can be purchased through the cemetery office.

CREMATION NICHE

Just inside the entrance of the cemetery is the new cremation columbarium. The columbarium consists of spaces, called niches, where the urn containing the ashes is placed. The columbarium is beautifully landscaped and sits in one of the most attractive areas of the cemetery.
